I´m in
sunny London now for a week, and as usual, I picked up the latest of my favorite
British magazines. I was a bit bewildered seeing the
VOGUE (UK) edition, with stunning
Natalia Vodianova priding the front cover -
naked! I wasn´t sure what I thought about it at first - being one of the most renowned fashion magazines,
about clothes! But the articles in this
"body issue" is great - covering national stars talking about their bodies and ways to just accept that you´re body
is as it is.Below is a quote from
Alexandra Schulman, Vogue´s Editor-In-Chief:
"Vogue generally deals with how we choose to clothe our bodies, but for this special issue we have diversified and looked at how we feel about those bodies, whether clothed or naked," says Alexandra Shulman in her editor's letter – which opens an issue that explores all kinds of body image issues and asks various famous fashion people about their most defining features: Jemima Khan's hair; Sadie Frost's bottom; Kelly Brook's boobs. "Body talk is big business," says Shulman.
